Pollution

There are too many ecological disasters and diferents types of pollution. The most importants are: acid rain, greenhouse effect, global warning, diminution of ozone layer and smog. I am going to explain each, and how they can be reduced.

The acid rain is a process, wich is harmful for animals, plants and nature. First, the nitric and sulphur oxides are emitted from exhaust fumes. The second step is the reaction of water vapor in the atmosphere. Next, forms acid nitric and acid sulphur, then they fall in the forests with consequent contamination.

Moreover the disminution of ozone layer then is a process wich one principal reaction is the cause of its destruction. The CFC`s, chlorinated compounds and others make it possible.

Actually, the most important process of comtamination is the greenhouse effect and global warning. These process are related, because in the first the sun rays that the rebound in the troposphere and it remains trapped in the atmosphere by the carbon dioxide. Therefore the earth temperature increases produces global warning.

Finally, the last process is “smog” wich is formed by exhaust fumes from cars, refrigeration towers or petrochemical industries. This consist of a mixture of ozone, nitric oxide, sulphur oxide and diferents organic compounds.

In conclusion, how we can reduce every process of contamination ?. Recycling, caring nature, no smoking and drive less, you can do?

Penultimate week :=) ¡¡¡

On monday i presented with my friend Mario. We told about to explosives, acid nitric, nitroglicerine, TNT, modern explosives...

I didn´t have any time to prepare the exposition because i was studying for the exam Métodos Analíticos de contaminates that also had on monday. I supossed that will have only 0.6 points.

This week, i am studying for the exam English I and English II that will have in the next thursday and wednesday. Iam being nervous because if i don´t pass the exams, i will not finish the career. Only i have that pass these exams.

The most dificult in the exams are: grammar and listening, i hope have enough luck in these parts. The next week i will write how i have come. Bye ¡¡

VISIT STUTTGART, CITY OF FANTASTIC CARS

The last week i worked on a presentation for English one, and evaluated the oral presentation of my class friends.

I have planned a visit to he Mercedes benz Museum located in Stuttgart, in Germany. And i explained the plan for the first day in Stuttgart.

The first day we will take the plane in Alcoy, and arrive a Valencia airport at 17:00 aproximately, and the price of train travel is 7,10 euros. In Valencia we will take the plane and arrive at Stuttgart airport at 22:30 at night.

We will go to the biggest shoping center in Stuttgart, called breauninger mall, and after dinner, we will go to the cinema, in this center to some learn german.

Finally, in the first day we will go to the Mercedes Benz Museum, to see the new designs of new car`s collection and to learn about mercedes cars. Arrive in time to see the exposition in this museum, of amazing cars.

What is a brand ?

The text speaks about brands. He speaks of its importance and its power to influence consumers. Everybody does that when we see something brand, we would have it more than other things that are not. Lots of advantages because the owners of famous marks can still make money with what is called franchises, contracts awarded to other companies with an incentive to gain ground.

There is also talk that there are better brands than others, or have a different power in the buyers. The strength of the brands, is based on the business strategies of franchising companies. It also influences the amount of publicity it to the brand.

We can distinguish four steps for developing a brand:Identify consumer needsProduct DesigancionThe cost of production and creativity to the brand positioning.

When this valued brand in question, one must know that marketing strategies should continue and do a market survey to continue to grow and make our brand is one of the best.

This week....

On monday only talk about immigration and i make one redaction about this, because if we make this will have a 0.5 points in the final evaluation. The immigration is a phenomen that make that the people travel to other countries for looking a new job, another live and better situations.

On tuesday we finished the one theme. We talked about properties of metals and non-metals and listened one listening and maked a lot of exercices.

When i started to realize the redaction about immigration, discovered interesting things like for example that 10% of the Spanish population are immigrants. Or the millions of people who emigrate every year.

A very quiet been a week, and also I had to study mac, I have an exam next Tuesday. Greetings ¡¡

Practice 3. Talking about Chromium and sodium

Now in laboratory class, I have choose two elements on the periodic table and explain this properties, principal fields of aplications, chemical properties, phisical properties...

My two elements are: Chromium and sodium.

The first element, has a melting point of 1857+/-20°C, boiling point of 2672°C, specific gravity of 7.18 to 7.20 (20°C), with valences usually 2, 3, or 6 (When appears with valence 3, the chromium is benign for humans and lifes, because when appears with valence 6, is toxic and produces cancer and others diseases). The metal is a lustous steel-gray color which takes a high polish. It is hard and resistant to corrosion. In addition chromium has a high melting point, stable crystalline structure, and moderate thermal expansion. All chromium compounds are colored.

The sodium is used to produce soda and also in many industrial processes. The sodium obtained by electrolysis (also sodium is relatively abundant in the sun and other stars). Sodium chloride is important for animal nutrition. Sodium compounds are used in the glass, soap, paper, textile, chemical, petroleum, and metal industries.

Has a melting point of 97.81 +/- 0.03°C, boiling point of 882.9°C, specific gravity of 0.971 (20°C), and a valence of 1 ( always ). It is soft and highly reactive.

End of september

As the Green Day song "Wake Me Up When September Ends." I hope to wake up because the course has already started and you have to get to work.

On Monday we did the practice number two, which consisted in learning to use relatives. You will learn more about effective presentations, watching another video in which an older man spoke.

On Tuesday we studied types of materials, and classified according to their properties . We did several exercises to learn new vocabulary.

Finally say, Anna's teacher, we explained that we could be with other erasmus students for discussions and meeting, also for them to feel integrated in our university and our environment.
